On November 25, 2025, the Quebec Peace, Security & Prosperity (PSP) 2025 partnership, of which the Roméo Dallaire Chair is a member, held the “Quebec Peace, Security & Prosperity (PSP) 2025” Forum. The Forum aimed to offer high school students a unique opportunity to deepen their knowledge of developing and maintaining lasting peace.
Nicole Arsenault, educational delegate for the magazine l'École branchée, wrote a report on the event. She writes that 170 students from seven different schools took part in discussion activities led by students from Laval University.
"The students were invited to reflect on the importance of the eight pillars in achieving United Nations Goal 16, ‘Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions,’ for the sustainable development of a country. They also analyzed Canada's performance as a ‘state capable of creating and sustaining a peaceful society,’ according to measures provided by the Institute for Economics & Peace (IEP) Positive Peace Index and the Global Peace Index (GPI)."
